Nicole thought one ACL tear might undo 3 years of work.

Nine months later, she graduated PT.

Then walked her first 5K post-surgery.

But her real goal was simpler:

Get back to playing sports with her son.

That’s why the small wins matter.

They show you what’s coming back before you’re fully “back.”

You got cleared.

But you still pause before the rep.

Check the movement.
Check your body.
Try it halfway first.

That’s the weird part.

Your body can be ready before you trust it again.

Save this for the day cleared doesn’t feel the same as ready.

Recovery feels slow when you only track what you still can’t do.

75 Recovery gives you proof you’re moving.

The first shower alone.
One crutch instead of two.
Sleeping in your own bed.
Doing something without thinking about your injury first.

Comment 75 and I’ll send you the journal.

After surgery, I didn’t need every workout to be impressive.

I needed something on the plan besides rehab.

Once I was medically cleared, dumbbell bench press was one upper-body option I could build around my restrictions.

That mattered bc walking into the gym with an actual workout gave me a piece of my normal week back.

Not random exercises.

A reason to feel like I was still TRAINING.

Which shoes are easiest.

Whether the place has stairs.

How long I’ll be on my feet.

When I need to do rehab.

Whether I have enough energy to go out AFTER rehab.

That’s why an injury can make your life feel smaller before you even realize it’s happening.

It’s not always one dramatic moment.

It’s 20 tiny decisions that used to require zero thought.

Getting more of your life back starts with noticing when those decisions stop running the day.

Save this for the week you’re tired of planning EVERYTHING around recovery.

It was sleeping in her own bed.

Then using a cane instead of a walker.

Tracking her steps.

Seeing her PT measurements change.

Ana told me:

“I have been using your journal to mark down the little accomplishments like sleeping in my bed and using the cane over the walker. I also mark down my measurements whenever I go to PT as well as keeping track of my steps.”

THIS is why I made 75 Recovery.

Bc when your only scoreboard is “Am I back yet?” it’s really easy to miss how much of your life you’re already getting back.

The shower you didn’t need help with.

The stairs that sucked a little less.

The first night back in your own bed.

The first thing you did without thinking about your injury the entire time.

Those wins count.

And on the days recovery feels painfully slow, I want you to have the receipts to prove how far you’ve actually come.

Comment 75 and I’ll send you the 75 Recovery Journal.

Your athlete can be crushing PT and still be having a REALLY tough time.

They can hit every appointment, do the exercises and get a good progress report.

Then sit on the sideline while their season keeps moving without them.

Don’t make physical progress the only evidence you use to decide how they’re doing.

Pay attention to the ride home.
The plans they stopped making.
How often every conversation comes back to the injury.

That tells you something too.
