We had some action on the docks last night as a NEW LEADER has emerged in the Valdez Fish Derby! Congrats to Shane Miller from Fairbanks as he caught a 184.6lb Halibut. Great job to for leading the charge!

2026 Halibut Regs are out!

3A regulatory waters (southcentral Alaska: Seward, Homer, Whittier, Valdez, Yakutat, Kodiak, etc):

- Charter halibut fishing is federally closed on Wednesdays all season, and on Tuesdays from June 2 - August 25.

- The daily limit is 2 halibut per person, but one may be no longer than 27 inches.

A Federal halibut stamp is now required for charter anglers. We will have them on board all our boats an anglers will be required to purchase one prior to leaving the dock.
