Lowndes High Georgia Bridgemen

The Georgia Bridgemen of Lowndes High School have set the standard for dedication, creativity, and musicianship.

Their dynamic shows have entertained thousands in venues ranging from high school football stadiums to the Georgia Dome and the SuperDome. Band members have performed for presidents, governors, and supreme court justices from coast to coast. The Georgia Bridgemen have had the distinction of marching in three of the most celebrated parades in the nation: the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 27, 2003; the Presidential Inaugural Parade in Washington, D.C., on January 20, 2005; and the 2006 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California, on January 2, 2006. In 2006 the Georgia Bridgemen also travelled to Chicago for the State Street Thanksgiving Parade, and they have accepted an invitation to march in the April 12, 2008, National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade in Washington D.C. [their second time marching in this prestigious parade]. Numbering over 400 members, the Bridgemen create an unforgettable impression in performance. As we prepare for our upcoming competitions and football games, we are organizing a Bridgemen Snack Drive to help provide snacks for our students while they are traveling.
To make sure each bus receives the same snacks, we are asking that all donated items be the exact items requested and purchased from Sam’s Club.
How to Donate Snacks
Please email [email protected] to sign up for the specific item(s) you are willing to donate. This will help us keep track of what has been covered and what is still needed.

All donated snack items must be delivered to the Band Room by the end of practice on Tuesday, September 22nd.

If you would rather contribute money toward purchasing snacks, please make your donation through RevTrak and include the notation:
“Donation for Bus Snacks”

We also encourage you to reach out to your workplace, office, local businesses, or business owners who may be willing to donate snacks or funds to help feed the Bridgemen during our travels. Every donation, large or small, helps us take care of our students during these long competitions and game days.
