When developing this property, there were artifacts of past life scattered throughout. Old homestead foundations, tools, water troughs, and more.
We left many in place, including the windmill on Pines 3, which frames the first Par-3 on the Pines.

AN ACE STORY FOR FATHER'S DAY 🌾 ⛳
When member David Melemseter (Sioux Falls, SD) retired last year, his son Matthew gave him a dozen Titleist #13 golf balls.
David made himself a promise: save them for par-3s only. If he was ever going to make his first hole-in-one, he wanted it to be with a ball his son had given him.
Time passed, and sadly nine of the twelve ended up in hazards at golf courses across the country. By the time David made his annual Opening Day trip to the club in mid-May, he was down to his final three.
On Pines 17 during his second day — undeterred by the canyon hard off the left — he grabbed his wedge and took dead aim. From the white tees, he watched the ball land a foot short of the cup, hop once, and disappear.
A hole-in-one! With Matthew's ball.
He turned to his wife Lori and said it out loud, "This was with Matthew's ball!"
He'd listened to those simple words printed on the side of it — "DAD DONT LOSE THIS BALL!"
