With Nebraska big game application period opening up yesterday it’s time to get those elk apps put in! Looking at taking 2 bull hunters this year in unit 6. 100% success rate the last two years. What an awesome opening weekend of Nebraska rifle Elk season. J.W layed the hammer on this stud 6 point! Hard to beat a weekend of elk hunting with good people!

Nebraska draw applications opened up today! Will be running 2-3 bull elk hunts this year again! Shoot me a message for more details. Unit 6 north central Nebraska. Already have a number of bulls on camera looks like it’s going to be an awesome year!

Was an awesome shotgun opener for turkeys in Nebraska, Mark and Matt whacked one opening morning, Russ got his first turkey opening night and was able to get his second tag filled on a stud Tom Sunday night. Can’t beat good company and good hunting!

Rifle season in nebraska was a little too nice weatherwise but we were still able to go 9 for 11 on bucks this year! Big thanks to all the hunters that came out this year! Starting to book turkey hunts for this spring so get a hold of me!

First ever Nebraska elk hunt here at CAO outdoors was one for the books! An awesome opening weekend of rifle season with Jon and Chris. Chris was able to hammer a big 6 point that decided it wanted to die in the niabrara river. Jon’s bull was a fun stalk running down the bluff along the river trying to catch up, finally got to 380 yards and Jon layed it on him. Great times with good people! Looking forward to next year!

Openings! I have rifle season openings as of today! Right now I have Nov 11-15(4.5 Days) and Nov 15-19(4.5 days) in Mccook open. Success rates have been outstanding through the last two years and looking to be another good year!

Also have nov 15-19(4.5 days) open up on the valentine lease. Was an awesome year up there last year and should be another good year as numbers are looking good. This is an either species tag with mule deer numbers increasing the last few years.
