Before the month ends we’d like to wish a very happy Derby-Versary to Dazzlynn, Gnarly, and Poison Envy!!

Dazzlynn #8, incredible player and CFO for 1.5 years, started her derby career from 2006 - 2008, joining CQS in 2019 with the goal to skate with friends. By the end of CQS’s first bouting year, she knew she had to join in on the competitive fun and played her first CQS game in 2022. She’s been dazzling on the track ever since, with incredible offense, SOLID blocking, and a derby brain that’s hard to match!

Gnarly #50 started in the beginning of CQS in 2019, pushing through her skating skills even through the pandemic. Her first bout was in 2022 vs. Santa Cruz. This is her first year back since an injury in 2024 and she has been working HARD, becoming FAST and FEROCIOUS (and who had an 18-point jam last weekend BTW). She’s also the mastermind behind our beautifully crafted giant skates you may have seen at our events!

Poison Envy #5150 started 2013 - 2017 with the Undead. In 2023 she decided to get back into playing and joined us at CQS. She’s an incredible PBJ & a badass and supportive team captain. If you’ve seen her, you know she’s powerful and effective in every position, and with her mermaid-like red flowing hair, she looks damn good while doing it!

A day late, but we want to make sure to wish our amazing squaddies a Happy May Derby-Versary!

Mayhem has been with CQS since 2022. She is a hard hitter and all around badass derby player. She takes care of her team on and off the track delivering awesome offense and home made goodies.

Glare Bear joined in 2025, graduating bootcamp into contact in May and has quickly become a strong derby player willing to do any position, and with ferocity!
DONT poke the bear on the track, she’ll get you back!

Dicy also joined CQS in the spring 2025 season. She’s as fearless as she is fun. She is SOLID and strong and may hold a record for one CQSs highest scoring 25 point jams this season!
