Having trouble finding words to describe what this week has meant. To see my dear friend Robin Bond compete on the world stage alongside her incredible teammates Matt French, Kenton Wright and Kimberlee Barker was breathtaking. Coach Miguel Undaberrena, Chef d’equpe Julie Alonzo held it all together and a huge crowd of proud patriots cheered from the stands. The whole event was like being in a dream world surrounded by the most beautiful horse and rider pairs. It will take awhile to process everything I learned this week. Huge congratulations to our team, you all made us so proud! #8 in the World y’all! 🇺🇸

🌎🏆 HISTORY MADE! 🏆🌎
For the very first time in USAWE history, we proudly celebrate our first-ever team to compete at the WAWE World Championship — and what an incredible debut it was!

🇺🇸 8th IN THE WORLD! 🇺🇸

Representing USAWE on the world stage, Kimberlee Barker, Robin Bond, Matt French & Kenton Wright made history as the very first USAWE team to compete at the WAWE World Championship ... and brought home an incredible 8th place finish in the world!

To be the first is something that can never be repeated. And to make that first appearance on the world stage with a Top 10 finish is an achievement that will forever be part of USAWE history.

This result represents so much more than a placing. It represents dedication, passion, countless hours of training, teamwork, sacrifice, and belief, all coming together on the world stage.

🐴 And none of this would have been possible without the amazing horses who partnered with our riders every step of the way. Their talent, heart, trust, and dedication made these goals possible. They truly are the other half of this incredible team.

A special thank you to Chef d’Équipe Julie Alonzo for her leadership and support, and to Team Coach Miguel Undabarrena for his expertise and guidance in preparing our team for the world stage.

To everyone who helped make this historic moment possible — thank you.

It’s hard to put into words what this week has been like. Seeing old friends, meeting new friends, meeting folks I’ve only ever seen on Zoom calls or social media. Seeing some of the most amazing teams compete, but all with humility, grace and kindness. We congratulated Team France on their incredible showing and they responded with they can’t wait to see the US in four years because our team was amazing. This community is truly unlike any other. I’m humbled, thankful and blessed. Well done WAWE. An experience to remember. 🇺🇸 💕

Made it to Jerez. So fun seeing our team and all the amazing support they have from across the country. Robin rides her dressage tomorrow morning, can’t miss it! An amazing experience, the Real Escuela is historic, beautiful and so storied. Pinch me!
