🐴 You’ve asked—and we’re opening the barn doors!

Over the years, many of you have asked, “Can I board my horse at HOTEA?” Normally, our stalls have been reserved for horses in our lesson or training programs.

For the first time, we’re welcoming boarders without a lesson or training requirement!

Bring your horse and enjoy:
🌳 Trail obstacles to explore on 30 acres
💡 A well-lit arena for evening rides
🐴 🏡 Live-in staff residing on the property
❤️ An experienced, welcoming horse community

This is a rare opportunity to make H.O.T. Equestrian Academy your horse’s home and enjoy the facilities at your own pace.

Full board: $750/month
📍 Valley Mills, near Waco

If you’ve asked before, now is the time to reach out! Message me or call/text 254-716-1200 to discuss your horse’s needs and schedule a visit.

Please share with a horse friend who’s been looking for a place like this! 🤎

A new week means another opportunity to begin. 🐴

H.O.T. Equestrian Academy (HOTEA) has a limited number of weekday riding lesson openings available with instructor Alli.

Our structured Western riding program is designed for children and adults—from complete beginners taking their first lesson to experienced riders ready to strengthen their skills.

✓ Suitable lesson horses
✓ Horses and tack provided
✓ Individual instruction and clear goals
✓ Horsemanship—not just saddle time
✓ A supportive path for continued progress

New riders begin with an Intro Lesson so we can learn about their goals, evaluate their experience, and help them take the right next step.

What does a riding lesson at HOTEA really look like? 🐴

It looks like learning how to prepare and care for your horse.

It looks like practicing balance, coordination and clear communication.

It looks like trying again when something is difficult—and discovering that you can do more than you thought.

Our students don’t simply ride in circles. Every lesson has a purpose, a skill and a path forward. We use the CanterLope curriculum!

HOTEA offers structured Western riding instruction for children and adults, including complete beginners.
