Due to very limited sign up we have chosen to cancel the 22 r***e match this weekend. Please keep an eye on our face book page for next years dates.

We will also be looking for one or more people to take over the MD role for 22 rimfire next year.

Pleas watch for our winter meeting. We will be talking about dates and if we will be staying with the PRO Series or looking at one of the others. That may be dependent on who is willing to take on the MD role.

The Steel Challenge Match scheduled for Wednesday August 26th has been moved to Saturday August 22nd. We won't have enough daylight on Wednesday evening to get all 5 stages in.

Here's the best part. We will have access to the 100 yard range on Saturday the 22nd so we will be able to run one of the longer classifiers that we normally can't run.

AND.....This will be a 6 stage match

WE ARE AT 65,000 Projectiles so we are well on our way to the 100K.
If y'all want projectiles to load over the winter you have till October 6th to get me what you want.

Getting some interest in putting together a Blue Bullet order. I would prefer doing one order per year. Steel Challenge match is on Saturday. C'mon on out USPSA competitors and reinforce your skills. Steel Challenge DOES help strengthen fundamental skills like transitions, first shot accuracy, draws, and sight picture. If you're competing with a center fire pistol you will have up to 39 draws per match as compared to USPSA's 3-10 draws at a local match. Unlike USPSA there really isn't any movement on the clock except for Outer Limits. If you don't practice or dry fire you might as well come out and have some fun.

Remember this Saturday is the PRO rimfire intro/practice day. Starting at 9am running till 12. Free for big sioux members and 11.00 for non-members. We also have a USPSA Match on Sunday with 16 people signed up already. If you want choice in squad dont wait to register.

Big shout out to EVERYONE 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻that came out last night to shoot Steel Challenge. Great turnout, and great people. Y'all make this worth it. The banter, the comrade, and the friendships that come from the shooting sports community is amazing. We had a few visitors come and check out the sport as well as some friends/significant others. I wish I was able to come say HI but y'all didn't go unnoticed. We also had a couple of new shooters which is always awesome to see. We love having you.

47 is an all time high for number of pew's at a SFPS Steel Challenge Match and it was on a WEDNESDAY. Beat the 5.2.2026 SATURDAY Match of 44. Yeah I know the GIF is lame.
