Kind of a sad day - flag came down for the year. You can see what months of sun, wind, and rain did. Thanks for a fun season. Now accepting tee times for 2022.

2 - heavy rough
3 - US Open rough
4 - Silo Vista rough (has to be periodically baled)

New flag created and put up today. It might rain Tuesday afternoon but if it misses us here in the northern suburbs of Valparaiso we’ll have a tee time at 5:30 for 3 (possibly 4?) golfers. Contact the clubhouse if you are interested. Tuesdays at 5:30 looks like a good time most weeks if you want to play a round. Other tee times possible upon request, dependent on schedule and availability.

Happy 50th to FoSV Dave Wagner from the entire Silo Vista team (and a happy 49th to Doug Sonnenberg even though he likely won’t see this).

Spring fertilization day here at Silo Vista - calculated as four miles of walking behind the walk behind spreader. Special thanks to FoSV (Friend of Silo Vista) Jim Cunningham for stopping by to distract the maintenance staff. Jim had a compliment that every golf course longs to hear “Silo Vista looks like it is in better shape than Mink Lake”. Chills.
