Wheeler Little League

Today, we'd like to give a special thank you to all of the dads who help make our league such a great place for kids to learn and grow.

Whether you're coaching, volunteering, working behind the scenes, or cheering from the stands, your time, dedication, and support mean the world to our players and families. The positive impact you have on these young athletes extends far beyond the baseball field.

We are grateful for all that you do and proud to have such amazing fathers as part of our Wheeler Little League family.

⚾️⚾️ Info for Wheeler Little League Day at the Railcats May 31st ⚾️⚾️

Please have the kids wear their Wheeler Little League jersey to the game.
Arrive by 1pm if you plan to participate in playing catch before the game and/or the National Anthem.
Free parking is available on the East side of the stadium in Lot B and you can enter through the outfield gates. Players will gather in section 104 to be let onto the field at 1:15pm.
After catch, those wanting to participate in the National Anthem will meet at the third base dugout.
We hope to see lots of green and orange in the stands on Sunday!

⚾️ Wheeler Youth Baseball Camp is tonight and tomorrow 6pm-8:30pm in the fieldhouse!

Reminder our evaluations are this Sunday @ Wheeler High School in the Fieldhouse. Please make sure you arrive 15 minutes Prior to your scheduled time. Your child needs Gym shoes, and glove at very least. If they have a bat and helmet please bring that as well.

Minors are at 12:00pm

Majors are at 1:00pm.

There are NO evaluations for and other age divisions. After evaluations teams will be selected. You should be notified within the week from your coach. At that time he will notifiy you of practice days, and request jersey size. Please make sure you are watching email, text messages for this communication.



Coaches.... If you asked or requested to Manage a team, assist in a team or you would like to do either and did not request please make sure you come Sunday for our Coaches meeting @ 10:30 am in the Fieldhouse cafeteria. We have a lot to discuss before draft and season starts. We have 4 tee ball teams, 3 Denim teams, 3 Minor teams, & 3 Major teams. We are working on our Junior/Intermiediate division currently. Numbers are down (13/14). I will be sending seperate communication on this within week on details for that division.

Included in your registration is your jersey, hat, socks and belt. We do not have extra fees for fundraising. All our fees are on our website. Late fees apply after Feb 28th. Registration will close March 6th at midnight. We offer payment plans!

Season will begin first week of April with practices. We are currently going back and forth on opening day. April 25th or May 2nd. We play 2-3 games per week might be a week we only have one. Schedules for games typically get released first week of April. Head coaches select practice dates.

Coaches that are interested in coaching need to register online and send me a separate email.

Here are some things we need from our parents this year. Help! We have had more than a handful of people that the kids have aged out. The help over the years from these people has been greatly appreciated! Field maintenance is a big one.

Information on sponsorship will be released soon. We are asking for help here from parents! Sharing the sponsorship form in itself is huge. Our sponsors keep league fees from rising.
