Wheeler Little League

⚾️ Wheeler Youth Baseball Camp is tonight and tomorrow 6pm-8:30pm in the fieldhouse!

Reminder our evaluations are this Sunday @ Wheeler High School in the Fieldhouse. Please make sure you arrive 15 minutes Prior to your scheduled time. Your child needs Gym shoes, and glove at very least. If they have a bat and helmet please bring that as well.

Minors are at 12:00pm

Majors are at 1:00pm.

There are NO evaluations for and other age divisions. After evaluations teams will be selected. You should be notified within the week from your coach. At that time he will notifiy you of practice days, and request jersey size. Please make sure you are watching email, text messages for this communication.



Coaches.... If you asked or requested to Manage a team, assist in a team or you would like to do either and did not request please make sure you come Sunday for our Coaches meeting @ 10:30 am in the Fieldhouse cafeteria. We have a lot to discuss before draft and season starts. We have 4 tee ball teams, 3 Denim teams, 3 Minor teams, & 3 Major teams. We are working on our Junior/Intermiediate division currently. Numbers are down (13/14). I will be sending seperate communication on this within week on details for that division.

Included in your registration is your jersey, hat, socks and belt. We do not have extra fees for fundraising. All our fees are on our website. Late fees apply after Feb 28th. Registration will close March 6th at midnight. We offer payment plans!

Season will begin first week of April with practices. We are currently going back and forth on opening day. April 25th or May 2nd. We play 2-3 games per week might be a week we only have one. Schedules for games typically get released first week of April. Head coaches select practice dates.

Coaches that are interested in coaching need to register online and send me a separate email.

Here are some things we need from our parents this year. Help! We have had more than a handful of people that the kids have aged out. The help over the years from these people has been greatly appreciated! Field maintenance is a big one.

Information on sponsorship will be released soon. We are asking for help here from parents! Sharing the sponsorship form in itself is huge. Our sponsors keep league fees from rising.

Congratulations to Wheeler Bearcats on there District 1 title. Next stop State! The boys left it all out on the field. This is Wheelers 2nd District 1 title in last 4 years.

Come out and cheer on our team getting close to that district title

Exciting weekend ahead.

Wheeler 50/70 Allstars plays LOFS in hopes to capture the district title and head downn state. They play tonight at 6pm at Hobart.

10/12 Allstars plays Sunday @ 9am to kickoff their journey through the district.

Sunday we will be hosting our 5th annual golf outing. Registration begins at 11am. We will take last minute registrations through tonight. Still accepting raffle baskets. All proceeds go to Wheeler Little League and Wheeler Youth Football and Cheer.

Let’s pack the stands this weekend and fill that golf course up! Great weekend to be a Wheeler Bearcat!

We are one week away from our annual golf outing! There is still time to sign up, we are taking sponsors until tomorrow the 23rd but golfers can come up till t-time. Please let us know if you are coming so we can have your carts ready!

Sunday, April 13th - Sponsorship Deadline
This is the final date to submit sponsorship forms so we can get banners made. We can accept payments late but you will not have a banner.

Saturday, April 19th - 9am-3pm - Field Day and Concessions Work
We will need anything from raking to full carpentry. Please show up for the kids. This is your chance to give back to our league and help the parents, coaches, and Board who manage operations all seaon.

Wednesday, April 23 - Time TBD

Saturday, April 26th - OPENING DAY!
8:30am - 3pm = stay tuned for more updates


Season Schedule
We are working on schedules, this is a very time consuming task. Thank you for your patience. As soon as we get schedules close a survey from Sign Up Genius will be sent for concessions. PLEASE KEEP AN EYE OUT AND SIGN UP FOR AT LEAST 1 DAY IN THE CONCESSIONS!
