Heroes Camp Valpo

We are back at Heroes camp!! Boys 4th grade - 8th grade every Wednesday from 3:30-6 at Valparaiso Nazarene church (enter door 7). We play sports, talk life lessons from the Bible, and feed them dinner. It’s FREE! Call 219-406-8633 if you have any questions.

Had a great time taking the kids to heroes camp in South Bend. They got to play a game against kids from SB (we lost) and then we took them out for pizza. They also got to hear founder Pat speak life and biblical values. Love this place!!

Heroes camp today 3:30-6 all Boys 4th - 8th grade welcome. Activities and dinner will be served.

We had a visitor today at Heroes Camp. “Rogue” from the K-9 unit with the Porter County Sheriff and Lieutenant Jason Praschak his handler/owner.

The kids loved it and they got to see a demonstration of Rogue sniffing out and finding actual drugs as well as Jason discussing with them what he sees out on the street and things for the kids to avoid.

Appreciate the thoughtfulness of Jason and his time. He also played soccer with the kids.

Heroes campers will be swimming and grilling out at The Laczynski residence 4507 Bedford rd valparaiso this Wednesday (weather permitting) same time 3:30-6 pm. Bring swimming trunks and a towel.

The plan for heroes camp next Wednesday is to have a pool party at my home. 3:30-6 we will be feeding them as well. Need weather to cooperate or we will have it at the church if we don’t. Let me know if any kids have swimming concerns.
