Valparaiso Americans Baseball

We are 1 week away from the Valparaiso Americans 11U Blue team playing in the 2026 Cal Ripken 11U World Series in Crown Point at Jerry Ross Park! Come out and support the Cal Ripken World Series experience before fall ball games (and school) gets started!

VA will start pool play off on Sunday by facing last seasons Cal Ripken 10U Runners Up from Manoa, HI and then look for pay back later in the day against South Lexington, KY who defeated them in the 10U regional championship game last season (and also ended up as 3rd place in the 2025 10U World Series). VA 11U rounds out pool play with a game Monday against Puerto Rico and Tuesday against Black Hills, Washington. Single elimination bracket play will follow later in the week.

Spots are filling up fast for the 2nd Annual VA Golf Outing, to be held at Valpo Country Club on Friday September 18th. Don’t wait to secure your spots in this fun and exciting event! We filled up last year and are expecting the same again this year.

Cost per golfer is $150 and there are options for multiple golfers, as well as many valuable sponsorship opportunities.

Your entry fee includes golf, breakfast and lunch, door prizes and contests, select beverages, and the ever-exciting hole in one contests and prizes!

Valparaiso Americans 11U White tryouts will be this Sunday, August 2, @ 6pm on Field 4!

This will be a new Hybrid team we are looking to form based on demand in the 11U age group for next season.

Based on demand in the 2027 11U age group, Valparaiso Americans is looking into forming a new 11U White hybrid team for next season!

Open tryouts will be August 2 @ 6pm on Field 4.

The new sod gets laid on Field 1!… and the sprinkler system decides it’s time to die! Thank you Rice Farms for hauling in some water on short notice to help keep it alive while we get repairs done.

It takes a full community effort to run Valparaiso Americans Baseball, thanks to everyone that is pitching in to water by hand this weekend.

The Dick’s Sporting Goods coupon event begins today and runs thru Monday. Fall Ball practices for Cal Ripken teams (TBall, Rookies, Minors, and Majors) begin next week, this is a good chance to make any new gear purchases if needed.

2027 Valparaiso Americans 11U Blue tryouts will take place this Saturday, July 25 at 4:30pm at Valparaiso Americans on Field 2. This team is an established AAA team and will compete at that level to start the year in 2027.

We have 1 team left playing in the Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth tournament trail this summer with the Valparaiso Americans 11U Blue team. They will be participating in the 11U World Series in August. 20+ of the best teams in the country (and internationally) will be attending.

Further details will be shared as the event nears, this is Valparaiso Americans first team to make a World Series in Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth!
