Update on Rachel, she is on the rehab floor doing good. Her parents have asked that if go to visit her, please make it after 4pm when she finished with therapy.

Practice and any try-outs are cancelled until further notice due to my co-founder still in the hospital. Rachel is doing much better but, still has a long road ahead of her.

Update on Rachel, the doctors removed the et tube and she is coherent but still heavily medicated. She was able to understand her dad but still cannot talk. Going to do the cookie test (swallow test) next to see if they can remove the NG tube before she is moved from the ICU to a regular room.

Update on Rachel, the surgery to her jaw was a success but, she ripped out the et tube herself and did some minor damage to her throat since the et tube has an inflatable cuff to keep it in one place. The doctors still have her pretty drugged up so she can heal faster and be able to move to a regular room.

Update on Rachel, she made it through surgery just fine and is in the recovery room. They are going to keep her in the ICU for the night and hope to be able to remove the tube out of her nose and move her to a regular room.
