Starting to thin down a Cheyenne today. This thing is old snd dry, will make a super fast light bow. Haven’t done a Cheyenne in a while. Might be a while before I get it done with all the sinew that will be pouring in the next three weeks then I’m trapping for a month or two!

Finished up this Ghost Dancer this morning. 55@27

One of the coolest set of arrows and quiver that I’ve done in a while. This was made from the back half of the gemsbok that I took in South Africa back in 2017 with a sinew backed Osage bow.
It comes with 6 modern traditional style hunting arrows as well as 5 with stone points and 1 with a steel trade point.
I think it turned out great and the new owner showed be pleased.

These are gonna be pretty when they are all on and get trimmed. 5 stone points and a steel trade point going up front.

660 total weight 50/55 Douglas Fir tipped with. 75 grain Woody Weight and a 155 grain single bevel Grizzly Broadhead. 6 more to go with stone points.

Finished up a real nice one today. Have another on the bench that is one of six left to do. After these I’m slowing down. After 26 years of building I’m ready to spend more time building a few rifles for family and friends. The trapping supplies and bait and lure are taking most of what time we have now, along with the farm work.

Just finished up a 2 day selfbow class with 2 great guys, Russell and Lane from Alabama. They completed 2 great bows.
