Van Legends 12u Baseball

The Legends stepped up this weekend and took on a 13U tournament. After going 1-1 in pool play yesterday, they battled their way to a win in the first bracket game today before falling 1-0 to the tournament’s #1 seed.

Playing up an age group is never easy, but the grit they showed in that last game leaves an impression. A one-run game against a really good team says a lot about who they are and what they’re capable of.

What a weekend for these young men and their moms. Our team went 2-0 yesterday, won again this afternoon, and was up 7-0 before the semifinal game was called due to weather. Not the ending we wanted, but we couldn’t be more proud of this group.

This weekend wasn’t just about baseball. It was about the moms behind the scenes, the early mornings, late nights, packing coolers, washing uniforms, traveling, and pouring everything they have into supporting their sons. Happy Mother’s Day to the baseball moms who dedicate countless weekends to memories their kids will never forget. Thank you for everything you do.

And while we celebrated all of our amazing baseball moms this weekend, our hearts were especially with Jenny. Even in the middle of an unimaginable battle, the love she has continues to inspire all of us. 🧡
