Food Donations
As most of you have heard, our country is currently experiencing a government shut down. One of the many things this affects is EBT benefits that most of the Individuals we support count on. In addition, many of our employees and their families rely on this funding to feed their children and families.

Northwest Supported Living, Inc would like to help out our Individuals and our devoted employees and their families as much as we can. With that being said, we are starting a food drive.

We are looking for a team of people to assist with our company food drive over the next few weeks. Volunteers would distribute flyers to their community and neighborhood, then help get the donations to our offices where we will make food and supply boxes for our NWSL Individuals and employees in need. If you would like to volunteer to help, or if you would like to donate, please email Ella at [email protected] and she will get you set up with some flyers and a plan.

Thank you all again for your continued help and support of our Individuals and our employees.

We are currently accepting non-perishable foods, pet supplies, and household supplies at our offices in Vancouver and Lacey. Please feel free to bring in donations during normal business hours.

What a fun time for a spontaneous Friday Lunch at Nefertiti Egyptian Restaurant! Thank you so much to our owners Vickie and Stacie for supporting the Aziz family and for the free lunch for 10 members of our staff! Our HR and Financial team hosted the event and our CPR class joined us for fragrant housecut garlic fries, falafal, humus and fresh pita, chicken, kafta, Turkish coffee, baklava and even bobba tea! Ready for a food coma anyone?

NWSL celebrated the holidays with an Open House today at our new office. Our friendly elf helped staff select an ornament and pick up their prize and tour our new space. Santa and Mrs.Claus had a special gift for each individual plus a picture of the festive moment. Thank you to everyone who filled the day with holiday cheer!

Veterans Day is coming up and Northwest is a proud employer of several veterans representing the US Air Force, Army and Army Reserves. To all veterans, we would like to thank and honor all who served honorably in the military in wartime or peacetime. Thank you for your courage, strength and dedication to keeping us safe.

Halloween is tomorrow and just a reminder to be safe, slow down and be alert if driving, and have fun!

It's that time of year again when we set our clocks back 1 hour. When does the time change? Our clocks will fall back one hour at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024.

Lacey is gearing up for Halloween Spirit Week starting Monday 10/28 and ending with the Halloween Costume and Candy Trunk or Treat on Thursday 10/31/24. Dig out your favorite sports jersey and 80's leg warmers!

October is in full swing with trips to Bizi Farms Pumpkin Patch and pumpkin carving/decorating later next week at the office. Be watching for pix of our creative results!
