It’s Raceday for night one of the Non-Wing Nationals two-day event!

Hello community and friends, I know there hasn’t been much going on from our page this year, but we are dealing with my mother who has terminal illness and haven’t been racing much this year.

We will be shaking down the new car this weekend at Willamette, hoping to prepare for the Wingless Nationals at Douglas County Dirt Track next month.

A lot of my followers don’t know my beginnings. At 20 years old I moved from Washington to Florida to this track, Sebring International Raceway to start as a mechanic at Skip Barber Racing School/Series.

Today is the 12 Hours of Sebring! This track is long, it’s rough (6 ft thick concrete), and it’s challenging.

My first laps in a racecar was at Daytona Internationa Course, my first race was at Sebring, taking the green flag starting on the insidese of thee middle of thee pack, and being put 3 wide in the middle of another mechanic and an instructor of blind turn 1 corner being fully aware of what open-wheel cars will do when tires touch!

What a thrill……and the drug was in my blood from that point on!
