Meet September's GOAT, Alondra Cordero! Alondra has shown outstanding dedication and leadership over the past month. She stepped in to support another home while the manager was out on leave. An assignment that has historically been challenging and she handled it with confidence, consistency, and care.

Her commitment to ensuring the guys remained healthy, engaged, and active has been evident every day. She made sure they were getting out into the community, doing the things they enjoy, and staying on track with all the tasks needed to keep the home running smoothly.

We deeply appreciate Alondra’s reliability, her positive attitude, and her willingness to go above and beyond during a time of need. Her work made a meaningful difference for the home and for the clients who depend on us.

Keep up the great work, Alondra!

Great turn out at today’s Reside Birthday BBQ! Got both the Portland and Vancouver folks together and enjoyed a beautiful day together!

Happy 19th birthday, Reside! My, how time flies when you’re having fun! It feels like only yesterday that we began offering services in Portland before expanding to Vancouver a couple of years later.

Today, Reside Residential Care supports just over 50 individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and provides employment for approximately 200 people. If you had asked me 19 years ago how much of an impact Reside would have, I could not have imagined the far-reaching influence it would have on communities throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Ultimately, what makes Reside special is our direct support professionals, managers, and administrative staff, who work tirelessly and selflessly to ensure that the individuals we support receive the same care we would expect for our own loved ones. This commitment has always been, and will always be, the standard by which we measure our work.

I would also like to thank all of our clients and their support networks for trusting us to care for you and your loved ones. We remain committed to putting the individuals we support first and treating each person with the dignity and respect they deserve.

Olivia hosted an amazing tea party! She went all out…take a look at the macaroons, tea cups, mini sandwiches, and cupcakes! It all looks so wonderful. Great job and everything looks super cute and fun!
