I say this year-after-year, and still it isn't spoken enough...your compassion and your unselfish desire to help others has not gone unnoticed! When you walk into your Clients' homes, you don't just "go to work," you make a positive difference in someone's life EVERY SINGLE DAY. You place smiles on their faces, bring joy to their hearts, fill emptiness with love and compassion, and bring hope to their futures. I know you don't look for praise, nor are you expecting accolades for the work you do, day-in and day-out. You put in the work, sometimes challenging our own morals and values in the process, pushing to be the best versions of ourselves so our clients can have healthy, strong, and unselfish staff to model themselves after.

Not everyone can work in this industry. Not everyone possesses the attributes to be successful at this work. You all have dedicated yourselves to this work and strive to become better at it every day. The barometer for success is not how others perceive the care we give to the ones we serve, but whether or not it is good enough for our own loved ones.

Today, Our Administrative Staff and Managers have a day off with pay and DSPs working will enjoy pay at time-and-a-half.

Chass, Joey, Steve, and Nick all performed well with their respective Special Olympics Basketball teams! Way to go guys and on to States! Woohoo!

In 2018, Ashley Scott and a few of the Managers/Administrators in Portland bought an engraved brick in Pioneer Square that read, "Reside Residential."

The first three people to submit photos of the Reside Residential brick will receive a free, comfy, and warm Reside hoodie.

A big thank you to everyone who participated and showcased their creativity. Special shoutout to Crisi and Shalisa from our Cowlitz County program for coming up with this fantastic idea and making it happen.

We had a great time at our Holiday Party at Mcmenamins Edgefield! There was a Secret Santa Gift Exchange, White Elephant, tons of prizes being raffled off, and so may fun and interactive games and activities! Best of all, we got to share the day together, celebrating one another and all of our accomplishments!

BIG SHOUT OUT to Dustin and Sammie for planning and MCing the event! You both always do such a wonderful job!

The significance of today varies from person to person. For me, it is a time for reflection and acknowledging my blessings. I am grateful for your involvement in our Reside community and your genuine care for the individuals we support and the caregivers who share their hearts with their clients every day. Thank you.
