Individualized Dance Guidance

My name is Daniel Martinez and ever since I was 14 and much younger I found a love for entertainment. I was raised in a unique atmosphere with a Mother who sang with a touring choir called the Sweet Adelines. I always watched in amazement as my Mother performed and took me through the whole process of rehearsal to show. I was immersed in a performer’s world. I started dancing at 15 years old and the why was always the rush of getting on stage but mostly the reactions from the audience who seemed to feed off of the dancing and performing that I fed off of in return. I realized at a young age that I could get a whole crowd dancing by jumping in and not being afraid. It was super important to learn how to dance to improve the experience so I spent time learning hip hop on the streets with my friends and started taking classes in modern jazz and hip hop as I could afford them. Dance saved me from gang life and created a confidence in me that I hold gratitude for in my heart. The benefits of dance are provided in a lot of recent studies but it does work wonders for the mind, body and soul.

Now I have the skills I have trained in over the years with being certified in ballroom, having experience in hip hop, contemporary, jazz and ballet, I can lead you to the dance dreams that people hold on to for decades sometimes. I am very passionate about making dance experiences happen within my own city and surrounding cities so that dreams of dance become realities right before our eyes and document them. I have loved being a teacher since 2009 and I am grateful to witness the joy in people when they start without an idea of what they can do and they realize their potential with individualized support out there on that sometimes scary dance floor.

The secret is always letting go of limiting beliefs but the comfort is in having a teacher who truly cares and I whole heartedly believe I can teach anyone how to dance. I have taught all ages from 10-100 and all ability levels so I can give you a story of someone I have taught that you or even they themselves never believed could be done or you could call me and start writing a story of your own. LET’S DO IT! YOU ARE ONE STEP AWAY FROM YOUR DANCE VISION BECOMING A REALITY! I am honored to be the teacher people seek or the person creating the fun that even the spectators can enjoy.
