Community, connection, and a whole lot of coffee gratitude ☕️❤
To celebrate their one-year anniversary, Red Leaf Orchards invited local businesses to apply to win drinks for their team, and thanks to our very own Youth Development Coordinator, Katie Lofthus, the Clark County Family YMCA was selected! 🙌
Their team hand-delivered 20+ drinks for our staff to enjoy, creating a moment of appreciation and connection in our day.
We’re so grateful for partners like Red Leaf Orchards who show up for our community in such thoughtful ways. Thank you for helping keep our staff energized as we continue to serve others!

Still feeling the energy from an unforgettable week at the Washington YMCA Youth & Government Legislative Session, an incredible comeback for Clark after 16 years.
Our Camas High delegation stepped into the State Capitol ready to lead, writing, debating, and growing in confidence every step of the way. There were high fives and tears as bills were both passed and failed, and the week ended with a Governors Ball in the rotunda, closing out the night with none other than “YMCA.” 🎶
🏆 Highlights:
-2026 Outstanding Delegation of the Year
-Nate Hamm elected YAG Speaker of the House for 2027
-Meaningful growth in leadership, confidence, and voice
This experience was made possible by our volunteer advisor Jenn, a former YAG participant and Secretary of State during her senior year. Her impact has come full circle, with “The Pesut Memo” she created as a student still used in the program today. She guided students in writing bills and connected them with Rep. Kevin Waters, bringing real-world insight to their work.
We also saw how alumni continue to fuel YAG programs across the state, and with only 12 states holding sessions inside their State Capitol, this was a uniquely powerful opportunity for our Washington students.
