Hammer Velo Criterium

Hey all Bike Racers...Well after alot of thought between Dave German and myself.... We have made the decision to cancel the Crit this year....For a few reasons...we just thought we could not put on our usual great event factoring in Covid...Time etc...And we pulled the plug
.Really sorry to all you faithful folks that support us every year

Good Afternoon Bike Racers....Well we have set the date for the race this year....

Saturday...June 19th....2021.... YES!!!!!!!

Lets all keep our fingers crossed we well be racing....We appreciate all the men, women, juniors that have supported our race over all these years.... This is the 10 year Anniversary.... And we could of never done it without all you guys...all the great people from OBRA....all our great sponsors overs the years....and a special HUGE thanks to all my mates....Look for details in the next month or so on an updated schedule etc.... The Famous Hammers are Looming : )

Hey all you CritSters....June 8th is the day this year....I can guarantee it well be another Sunny Bright Saturday to race...😁

Thanks to everyone that came out today....a fun day of racing...Thanks to all our great sponsors, all my amazing mates, friends, family...It takes a huge effort from many people to make this happen each year, big thanks....

This Sat, June 23rd is the 10th Annual Hammer Velo Crit, amazing to me that it has been 10 years of putting this race on…..Weather looks to be perfect…78 and sun…

Just wanted to thank everyone, for the years of support, from OBRA, Team Sponsors, Mates and Friends….

ONE Last Minute CHANGE to our Flier and Race Cats….. we ADDED to the Masters race a 40 3/4/5…… so there well be 40,50,60 plus in that race, ONLY 3/4/5 allowed….This well give Masters racers just one more option to race….

We still have the open Masters 1.2,3 race as well….. I think next year we well drop the Cat 5 race and add another Masters race since the Cat 5 race gets very little attendance…But for this year the only way we can add you 40 plus guys in was to another race…So spread the word….. New Flier has been sent to OBRA to change for registration….so be patient : ) it should be opened to register for this new Cat later today I hope….

Prizes and Primes well be flowing as always at this years event, as you all know we give away a lot of stuff and the Infamous HV Sledge Hammer to all Winners….

Last But SURELY Not Least…. In the past year or so there has been several instances of some inappropriate things happen at races as far as women feeling uncomfortable, intimidated and feeling their space of protection be violated at OBRA events where they should feel safe…..SO, I just want to say, we WELL have a ZERO Tolerance Policy for any of this kind of behavior….If you feel the need to touch, hound, stalk, say things that should not be said in anyway, then I Highly Suggest you stay away….The Women of OBRA have been huge supporters of the HV Crit for years, and I well personally take it upon myself to make sure they feel our race and venue is a fun ,safe place to come race, hang out, without any harassment…..NUFF said…...
