It is with a heavy heart to write that on January 3, 2022 at 11:20am, Monty Holt peacefully passed away surrounded by loving family after a decline for several months. I would like to thank all of you who have stuck by him, promoted Bits & Pieces Motorsports, and given him so much joy over the years as this company meant so much to him; even to the end, he would talk about it, and your support and all of you helped build this.

The email has been updated as Joan Holt and Crystal Holt, his wife and daughter respectively, have no access to his previous email and are trying to sort out Bits & Pieces. We will do our best to keep everyone updated as we can.

We have received a number of inquiries regarding pricing, we do not have a range of pricing as we are an eclectic supplier of motorsports parts, supplies and services therefore it is impossible to give you a range of pricing. If you want specific pricing we can do that but to provide general pricing information, or range as some have asked for that is impossible and if the people that made these inquiries spent a few minutes looking at we do then they would have answered their own questions.

You will be seeing more listings of new items we have, new product lines and services we provide to corporate clients and independent race teams.

Congratulations to Ken Smith and Andrew Higgins on their one-two finish in the opening round of the F5000 Tasman Series race at Mansfield this past weekend.Ken Smith, 72 years old, is on his way to another Tasman Series championship if this past weekend a preview of what is to come.
My thanks to Barry Miller, crew chief for Ken Smith, Ken Smith and Andrew Higgins for their business and hopefully they will have a great season.

I want to let our friends who are competing at the SCCA Runoffs at Road America know we are thinking of them and wish them the best. So Ken Muth, Lans Stout, Rick Kulach, Kyle Kelley and Matt Stahl I will be rooting for you.

Congratulations to our friend, and customer, Phil Mendelovitz on his successful weekend at the Monterey Historic races this past weekend. He now has checked off another item on his bucket list.

Phil own's the championship winning Nissan 240SX IMSA GTU car that was owned and successfully raced by Bob Leitzinger and a host of other very talented drivers including his son Butch Leitzinger.

We will be selling parts and supplies plus Sunoco race fuel, 110 Standard and 260GT-100 unleaded at the SCCA Oregon Region Triple Header August 23-25. If you require Sunoco 112 Supreme or have specific requirements for Hawk brake pads or Quarter Master clutches please give us a call to insure that we have what you need when you arrive at the track.
Our hours will be: Friday for 7:30 a.m. till 12:30 p.m., Saturday from 7:30 a.m. till 1 p.m. and Sunday 7:30 a.m. till Noon

if you're going to the Friday and Saturday night drags at PIR we will have Sunoco 110 (leaded) and Sunoco 260GT (100 octane unleaded) fuel for you

We have started selling at the drag races at Portland International Raceway. Currently, we have a matte black open face pyrotect large helmet, a matte black closed face pyrotect large helmet, a cooler, belts, gloves in different sizes and colors, oils, 100 octane for around $11, 110 octane for around $10, and now 112 octane for around $12. We have been approved to start selling fuel at the drag races three times a week at Portland International Raceway. We will start this up coming Wednesday, 5/22.
