Please contact [email protected] 573-382-2398 about joining our USA Swimming Club!
It’s our mission to prepare young swimmers for competition. That means that we spend a great deal of time & effort teaching the 4 competitive strokes, as well as training our swimmers to meet the physical demands inherent in swimming the events themselves. Generally speaking, if a swimmer can swim a length of the pool on their belly, as well as a
length on their back, then they are good enough to make the team.
I am proud to announce to everyone that we have hired a new full time Head Coach, Richard Taylor!
Coach Taylor has 27+ years of coaching experience with different teams all over the country and was a swimmer in the 70’s. He has worked with swimmers of all levels and has helped many achieve or exceed their lofty goals of best times, regionals, and state achievements. Coach Taylor has led swimmers to state championships, High School Championships, and National Rankings over his career.
Coach Taylor is already working with Coach Alyssa for a smooth handoff of responsibilities during the month of March as he moves from Wisconsin to Vancouver.

VSC Families,
I have some unfortunate news… we learned that Marshall Community Center is closing the pool until further notice due to a maintenance issue.
Coach Alyssa said that, “practice the last two weeks has been incredibly fun. I love getting to know all the swimmers and it makes me happy to see their joy being back in the water!”
We will continue to work to find us pool time!!!
We appreciate everyone's patience and support!

Remember to sign up for each practice you would like to attend! Please print and sign the COVID-19 Waiver and bring to your first practice.
We will need a Parent volunteer for each group practice to help with check- in.
Swimmers, Bring a ziplock bag for on-deck mask storage.
Please review procedures carefully with your athletes and family members for the safety of everyone, and to avoid losing our practice time.
Great news everyone!
We have the opportunity to resume practice at Marshall Community Center starting next week on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. First step is getting everyone re-registered. Please check your email for instructions and complete your swimmer's re-registration by Thursday, January 14th. After we get athletes registered and know how many are returning, we will be able to design the practice schedule based on available pool time. Coach Alyssa will be following up soon with practice sign ups, safety protocols, and other requirements.
