🥎FALL LEAGUE — WEEK 3 SWEEP🥎

What a night for this team! The girls put together two complete performances Tuesday at Action Sports Center, finishing 2-0 and outscoring our opponents 21-0!

🟣 Game 1: Butler 10 – Outcast 12U-Mayes 0

The girls wasted no time getting started, exploding for 10 runs in the first inning and collecting 10 hits as a team. Avery V led the offense, going 2-for-2 with a triple and 3 RBIs, while Ella C also added two hits.

One of the many highlights of Game 1 was Lincoln F in the circle. Lincoln tossed a four-inning NO-HITTER, striking out 9 and allowing ZERO runs!

🟡 Game 2: Butler 11 – Field Gems 12U 0

The momentum carried right into Game 2. The girls erupted for 7 runs in the second inning, highlighted by Lilly S blasting an inside-the-park home run and Ella C driving in three with a double!

Hadley A went a perfect 2-for-2 with 3 RBIs, while Avery V and Ella C each collected two hits.

Lilly S followed Lincoln’s pitching performance with a gem of her own, throwing a three-inning shutout with 8 strikeouts, allowing only two hits.

Across seven innings of softball, the girls allowed ZERO runs and committed ZERO errors.

A complete night of softball with pitching, hitting, baserunning, and defense all working together.

🟣POOL PLAY RECAP🟡

A great day of softball, as the girls finished the day 1-0-1 with a big win and a hard-fought tie!

🥎Game 1: Butler 13 – Southwest Outlaws McCoy 2

The bats and baserunning came alive early as Butler exploded for 7 runs in the first inning and never looked back! Faye S delivered a big two-run triple, while Dani B and Lincoln F added RBI hits.

The girls showed great patience at the plate with 10 walks and stayed aggressive on the bases with 9 stolen bases.

Avery V was strong in the circle, earning the win with 6 strikeouts over three innings, allowing just two hits and one earned run. The defense backed her up with an error-free game!

🥎 Game 2: Butler 4 – Brick City Lady Blast 4

Game 2 showed a lot of fight from our girls. After falling behind 3-0, the girls answered right back with three runs in the bottom of the third. Scarlett P and Avery V came through with RBI doubles, while Ella C drove in another.

Brick City went back ahead 4-3, but our girls responded again as Haven S drove home the tying run.

The offense finished with 8 hits from 8 different players, and Lilly S battled through all five innings in the circle, finishing with an impressive 9 strikeouts and just one walk!

We finished the day 1-0-1, but more importantly, we saw contributions throughout the lineup, aggressive baserunning, strong pitching, and plenty of fight when we got behind.

Proud of the way these girls competed today! Back to work tomorrow with the opportunity to keep building!
