We are excited to officially welcome three new mares to the ranch, however two of them are still in need of names and we would love to have your suggestions!

These girls have already settled in so well, and we can’t wait for everyone to meet them and watch them become part of the Maple Ridge family. We’re looking forward to all the adventures, trail rides and memories still to come.

Hello everyone,
My name is Addyson Piehl, My fiancé Drew DeGood and I are honored to announce that we are the new owners of Maple Ridge Stables in Vanderbilt, Michigan.

Maple Ridge has been part of my life for nearly as long as I can remember. I began coming here at 5 years old, started taking lessons at 9, and joined the staff at 13. Over the years, this stable has played a significant role in shaping both my passion for horses and the person I am today.

I am deeply grateful to Penny for the knowledge, mentorship, and opportunities she has given me throughout the years. Her dedication and hard work built something truly special, and it is a privilege to continue that legacy.

As we begin this new chapter, our goal is to preserve the heart of Maple Ridge while thoughtfully introducing new opportunities for growth in the future. We are committed to providing a welcoming environment and meaningful experiences for every rider, family, and guest who visits the stable.

We are excited for the season ahead and look forward to meeting and working with all of you. Thank you for your continued support of Maple Ridge Stables. 💚💛

Lessons that were scheduled to start today are being pushed out to next week, the 8th. I am optimistically hoping that Mother Nature will take care of some snow for us.

Well, it is official. This will be my last summer at Maple Ridge Stables. Although the business will remain open, the property is for sale. This is not a solicitation for a real estate agent. If I choose to use one, I have one chosen already. In the meantime, the property is available for 1.2 million. It is 38 acres with an amazing horse barn, tack barn, equipment barn, detached garage and 2600 sq ft custom home with open floor plan. There are 10 fenced pastures with 5 horse shelters. In honor of Valentines Day tomorrow, I would like to invite anyone interested in sharing some love with the horses to come to the farm and groom and love on them. It has been a long cold winter for them and they miss all your attention. You are welcome to bring carrots and apples to share as well. Barn will be open from 10am till 3pm
