We are so incredibly grateful for all of the support we’ve received over the past 6 years, and we hope to find a way to continue this race going forward.
Our sponsors, participants, and amazing volunteers are what make this such a special community event. We truly couldn’t do it without you.
Once again, we have 10 bags of shoes to donate to , and we were proud to be able to donate $3,500 to the Land Conservancy, even with the additional costs from the City of Venice.
And perhaps most importantly, we collected only about one Publix bag worth of trash after the entire event. The park looked just as beautiful as it did when we arrived!
Thank you to everyone who embraced the zero-waste theme, followed the guidelines, and helped us keep this event as environmentally friendly as possible. (We could hone in on those composting skills though lol). Your efforts truly make a difference.
