Our very own Lady Indian Kiley “Primetime” Zartman has achieved an outstanding milestone - voted as the 2026 Sarasota Herald Tribune Reader’s Choice Flag Football Player of the Year! This exceptional athlete and outstanding young lady has demonstrated remarkable dedication and perseverance, accomplishing incredible feats in her first year as a Flag Football player, all while being only a sophomore! We can only imagine what Kiley will accomplish for the next two years! Thank you to all who voted and supported our Venice High Lady Indians!

The Sarasota Herald-Tribune has announced the All-Area teams for Girls High School Flag Football, and we are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our 10 Lady Indians in our first year back since 2018!

This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to the unwavering dedication and perseverance of our student-athletes, who embody the Venice High standard of excellence.

The following Lady Indians have earned well-deserved recognition for their impressive performances, with a bright future ahead:

1st Team All-Area: Talia Roseboom, Julia Sroka, Kiley Zartman, and Becca Zurawski.

2nd Team All-Area: Veronica Del Sole, Raina Jernigan, Avery Lee, Juliana Lopera, Jayla Marti, and Katie Reynolds.
