🌶️ SPICY SUNDAY IS BACK 🌶️

On Sunday *11/10/24* we will be meeting at Casa Agria Specialty Ales brewery for a 46 mile loop! THIS IS NOT A BEGINNERS RIDE. Please consider your experience level if you have not ridden narrow shoulders, loose gravel, technical climbs, or steep descents. Be warned, we will face all of the above 👆🏼

The beginning of the ride will be a long flat warmup prior to entering the “front-side” of Sycamore Canyon. Be prepared for rough terrain and the occasional water crossing as we will be hitting some light single track!

Because of the mixed terrain (highway, fire road, single track and possibly some bonus gravel) and long distance of this ride, we recommend gravel bikes with a MINIMUM of 35mm tires. A rigid 26er or a hardtail with a lockout fork will suffice, but may have a tough time keeping up on the long road sections at the beginning and end of this ride.

This is a self supported ride, so be prepared and have a plan if you have to drop from the group.

🚨Custom build alert🚨 came to us with a seriously cool steel road bike build. bar and stem combo, HED Ardennes wheelset, mech 11 speed 105 brifters to ultegra RX derailleurs. Stoked we got to weigh in and help with this build!

🌶️SPICY SUNDAYS HAVE BEGUN🌶️!
Sunday10/13 will be the first of a monthly ride series taking place every second Sunday of the month. These rides are going to be spice level 5 or higher so be ready for killer climbs, 30+ miles, and boundary pushing routes. Routes will change monthly.

We’re kicking off the series with a sulphur mountain loop, spice level 7.2. You’re welcome to join, but be warned this is a killer climb, and self supported. 38mm or larger tires recommended. Bring 2-3 water bottles, spare tube, and a snack if needed. We will make a quick refuel stop in ojai, but the bill of the ride hits before then. Looking at 3.5-4 hours riding time.
