Ventura Canoe & Kayak Club
The Ventura Canoe & Kayak Club, a registered 501(c)(3) and formerly known as the Ventura Olympic Canoe Club.
We train at the Ventura Harbor and were Sprint National Champions in 1972, 1973, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1984, 1985, and 1986. Olympic / Sprint canoe and kayak club located in Ventura, California. We were National champions multiple times in the 1970s and 80s, and are now back to racing and training after a dormant period.

This Memorial Day weekend, the Ventura Canoe & Kayak Club made the trip down to Newport Beach to compete in the NAC + OpenWater Memorial Day Race. This race is more than just a paddle. It's a meaningful tribute to raise money and awareness to support local First Responders and Military families. Four miles of flat water, good competition, and even better company.
A huge thank you to Newport Aquatic Center and OpenWater for putting on such a special event, and to the VCKC members and their families who showed up and represented our club with heart.

This same weekend, our very own Coach Lynn completed the 100-mile California River Quest. Paddling from Redding to Chico, CA, in 12 hours was a tremendous feat! Great job, Coach Lynn!!!

Join us in wishing the good luck as they get ready to race in first ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup of the season!
Racing starts tomorrow in Szeged, Hungary and will continue through Sunday, May 10.
