Brew Rides are starting up again!!! First one on Sunday 3/8 at 1pm.
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, February 13, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., celebrating the completion of the Cabrillo Bike Path.
This project represents an important investment in active transportation, providing a dedicated Class I bike path that improves connectivity between South Saticoy Avenue and North Bank Drive along the Santa Clara River. The Cabrillo Bike Path is funded through the Caltrans Active Transportation Program and the Ventura County Transportation Commission’s Transportation Development Act, Article 3, supporting safer and more sustainable transportation options for our community.

Program Highlights
Welcome and opening remarks
Official ribbon cutting and media photos
Community activations featuring Cycling Without Age and Bike Ventura
Cycling Without Age will offer short demonstration rides using their trishaws, open to community members and attendees
Bike Ventura will host a celebratory ride and help guide participants along the path, highlighting the Santa Paula Branch Line connection
Following the formal program, attendees are invited to participate in the activations, connect with partners, and enjoy the new path together.
What to Expect
Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes if you plan to participate in the bike rides
This is a community celebration, bring your bike, feel free to invite neighbors, friends, and colleagues to join us

At a local elementary school, our Bike Education course grows a little every day by adding new sections that help students explore and safely navigate real-world traffic scenarios.

As we wrap up this incredible year, we’re celebrating the success of our Bike Education program that helps local K-8 students gain confidence and safety on the road. We’re grateful for the dedicated volunteers, both new and longtime, who continue to give their time and skills to keep our wheels turning and we welcome our new staff members who joined the team.

🌧️🚲 Heavy rain didn’t stop nearly 100 local high school students, teachers, and volunteers from gathering at Oxnard College for the 34th Annual Geochallenge!
BikeVentura was proud to sponsor and award the grand-prize cruiser bike to this year’s top winner. 💙🚲
