We at Naturalists at Large are deeply saddened by the loss of Kenny Goff, an extraordinary individual who made an indelible impact on our community. Kenny was a beacon of grace, competence, humility, kindness, and care, embodying the values we strive to uphold in our work. His bright smile and positive energy brought out the best in every program, team, and environment he was part of.
Kenny’s contributions to Naturalists at Large and beyond were nothing short of exceptional. We had the honor of working with him from his early days as a nattie in 2011 through his final programs with us in 2017. He was not just a colleague but a cornerstone of the outdoor education and guiding communities. His absence leaves a void that cannot be filled.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, fiancé, and loved ones, as well as to his extended community of peers and coworkers. Kenny’s legacy will continue to inspire all of us as we carry forward the spirit of connection, compassion, and excellence he exemplified.
Nattie for Life!
