The Board of Directors is excited to announced that after 9 years of efforts to establish and grow pickleball in the Ojai Valley, approval has been obtained from the City to hold the first official Ojai pickleball tournament. On June 5th-7th the tournament will be held on the 4 lower Libbey Park courts; 16 temporary pickleball courts will be created to accommodate the tournament play.
On Friday June 5th there will be Women’s Doubles; Saturday June 6th will be Mixed Doubles; and Sunday June 7th will be Men’s Doubles. In each of these events there will be multiple categories for different skill levels and ages.
This tournament is now advertised on the website pickleballtournaments.com and this is also where registration for the tournament is taking place.
