SPN can implement training and education programs designed to harness the power of sports.

Building stronger, healthier and more inclusive communities by helping athletes, sports organizations and other non-profits use sports to create programs which focus on Education, Opportunity and Empowerment for children and adults. We work with individual athletes, their foundations, sports organizations and others to make efficient use of resources. Our goal is to help advise these groups on strategies which will allow the funds to be utilized to deliver more services rather than being spent on administrative infrastructure.

Mental Health is the top issue we hear about in sports and in virtually every industry. Earlier this week we spoke at the Community Trust Forum in Miami which was hosted by Dedication to Community. Mental health within police departments was a featured topic. Yesterday and today I am listening to heartbreaking discussions from military families and sports families about the mental health challenges resulting from brain injuries at the The Mac Parkman Foundation Subconcussive Summit. All of these groups also have a very high su***de rate. We have to do better.

Next week we are excited to be in Atlanta on Tuesday night, Sept 22nd, to speak at the Life Beyond The Game Networking and Fundraising Experience at the The Gathering Spot (384 Northyards Blvd NW, Atlanta). Our Founder, Roy Kessel will be on a Fireside Chat panel with Josh Powell (Crown 3 League) and Ladonna Murphy (JP Morgan Chase). Proceeds from this event support Mental Health initiatives in schools and youth/HS sports.

Great to be a Media Partner for the The Mac Parkman Foundation 3rd Annual International Summit on Reptitive Brain Trauma in Tampa, FL on Wednesday, September 16th and Thursday, September 17th. Incredible insight into tips and tools for preventing harm. So much work still needs to be done.

Honored to be speaking at the Dedication To Community Community Trust National Symposium in Miami on September 15th. I had the chance to attend last year and gain many insights into the challenges the police face in the communities that they serve.

I look forward to sharing ideas and pathways of how sports can be a positive influence on that process. We have some great examples with trading cards and police athletic leagues, but there are many other strategies to build strong relationships together!

Last Monday night we had an incredible opportunity to see the beautiful Milstein Family Tennis Center in NYC. A terrific Pro-Am to benefit Harlem Junior Tennis brought out a great crowd from the investor and family office communities! Katrina Adams has done an incredible job identifying resources for the program and now is looking for larger scale capital to build even more courts!

Great event last night with Matt Berrafato and Brian Swift at the Glenview Ice Arena. Hearing their stories and the passion they each demonstrate for giving back to the community. Known as the Quadfather, Brian speaks regularly to help encourage people with severe disabilities. Matt's passion is helping people identify their own passion. Through his book "Loose Pucks" he tells the stories. Both of them came out to raise money for the "Now What Foundation" and its great work.

Thank you to all of our bidders for our Member for a Day Golf Auction that closed this week. We appreciate your generosity, as well as the generosity of those that are hosting golfers at their country clubs! These funds are used to expand our mental health programs.

Watch for our next auction from November 11th to 17th. If you are willing to host golfers, please let us know so that we can get you set up for a terrific experience!
