Have you picked up this week's 32963?
We're honored to be featured in this week's paper with a story about our Jackie Robinson Celebration Game and why this event means so much to our community.
As Meredith shared in the article:
"The baseball game as our signature fundraiser is one of the most nostalgic things that happens in Vero. People love to celebrate and honor what happened at Dodgertown and Jackie's legacy. Partnering with the Jackie Robinson Training Complex to put the game on is truly a celebration of the community. The fact that it raises funds for United Way is a great way to honor everything that Jackie stood for, whether it was unity, justice, hard work, commitment or community. That's what Jackie stood for and those are all things that United Way stands for."
We're also incredibly grateful to our presenting sponsors, the Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Groups of Shambo, Schwibner, Schwartz, and Morgan Petersen Rinchack, whose support helps make this special event possible each year.
If you see a copy of this week's 32963, take a minute to give it a read. And while you're thinking about baseball, community, and Jackie's incredible legacy, mark your calendars now for April 15, 2027. We can't wait to see you back at the ballpark!
