August 15: $30,000 Dr. Anne L. Barlow Ramsay Grant for U.S.-Bred Horses🇺🇸

The Dr. Anne L. Barlow Ramsay Fund was established to showcase talented American-bred horses ridden by United States citizens. It provides financial assistance for coaching, training, and competing in Europe or the Ocala/Wellington area, Florida. The horse and rider combination should have a proven record with plans to reach and excel at the elite, international standards of high-performance dressage.

Applicant Criteria includes:
Be competing successfully at one of the following levels:
- Prix St. Georges through Grand Prix (must have at least three scores of 65% or higher at Prix St. Georges or higher),
- Developing Prix St. Georges (must have at least two scores of 65% or higher),
- Seven-Year-Old Horse Division (must have at least two scores of 72% or higher),
- Five and Six-Year-Old Young Horse Division (must have at least two scores of 7.5 (75%) or higher).
- Combination of horse and rider to demonstrate potential to move forward into High-Performance competition and to be an ambassador for the American-bred horse.
-Have a detailed and attainable training/competition plan that takes place in Europe, Ocala, or the Wellington, FL, areas.
-Be a model of horsemanship and sportsmanship.

Hiring in Vero Beach, Florida

General barn chores; turnout, stalls, dropping hay and grain, picking feet, hosing horses, cleaning waterers.

Nice clients, well behaved horses, paid lunch, snacks and coffee aplenty, hardworking teammates.

We have 32 stalls, primarily dressage and hunter jumper clients. 3-4 staff per day, plus trainer and owner. Some riding opportunities available for the right person and option to bring a horse.

Full or part time (mornings required), flexible days. No housing available.
