Halloween lovers โ we have the perfect event for you! Participate in the City of Vero Beach Recreation Department's 63rd Annual Halloween Parade & Costume Contest! Wear your costumes to walk in the parade or decorate your car, golf cart, motorcycle, or a float and meet us at the Vero Beach Women's Club (1534 21st Street) parking lot at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2023! The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. heading north on 14th Avenue to the Vero Beach Community Center. The costume contest for children ages 0 - 17 will take place immediately following the parade at the Vero Beach Community Center. Every participant ages 0 โ 17 will receive a free goody bag and prizes for best costumes will be handed out by the awesome Recreation Staff! No political organizations will be permitted. Visit the recreation page at www.covb.org for parade applications for vehicles and walking groups/organizations. Applications can be mailed to or dropped off at the Vero Beach Community Center (2266 14th Avenue). Walking children and families do not need to submit an application. Riverside Park Racquet Complex paving construction, August 17th โ August 18th
Paving construction at the Riverside Park Racquet Complex parking lot is tentatively scheduled to begin on Thursday, August 17, 2023 and is anticipated to end on Friday, August 18, 2023. During this time, temporary lane closures should be expected. Access to Riverside Park will be maintained. Contact the City of Vero Beach Public Works Department at 772-978-4870 with any questions.
