Her origins began in the Northeast in the 80’s by Dan West, and now have been reborn in Vero Beach at Dragonfly Boatworks. What a great event Dragonfly Boatworks attended this weekend, the 2025 Casting For Cats tournament in Islamorada. We took a 17 Dragonfly Classic down to add to the festivities of the weekend and it fit right in with the great prizes Sharon and her crew put together. As always it is great to visit with old friends and make new friends who love to fish. Already planning for next year.

You all know we have sponsored this tournament for quite a few years with our paddle boards. Well this year we stepped up the position with Sharon Ellenwood and her crew and now a 17 Dragonfly Cassic will be the grand prize. All proceeds from the tournament go to the upper Keys Veterinary Hospital Emergency Rescue Fund. They have games for the kids a great auction and the ever popular “litter box dig”.
