It’s been 20 years…
We’ve been through some trying times and we survived. But life has a way of creeping up on you and reminding us that there is a time and season for everything.
My proudest moments are so many:
My son and my daughter becoming Master Instructors in TKD to my granddaughter Ravyn just starting classes.
Mud Runs
Spring Break Camps
Summer Camps
New Years Eve sleepovers
Halloween Sleepovers
Shave Cream Wars and Sumo suits!
Ear checks to Hard knuckles to holding a stick over their heads…when they drove me insane 😝.
Tournaments and Demonstrations. There are so many many memories.

I loved all my students. I knew their name by the end of class.
I met a lot of good Master Instructors along the way…many became my friends, brothers and sisters in martial arts. I met great coaches and I hope to have inspired them to live their fullest and take advantage of their youth!
I hope I taught my students to love life. To follow when it was time to follow but Lead when it was their time to Lead.
I hope my sled dog quote that made so many laugh is remembered.
I hope the FDR quote “it is not the critic who counts…” echoes in their journey.

I exercised my body to stay healthy but sometimes life happens and other problems enter the equation that exercise or diet can’t necessarily fix.
So now I have to go get my body repaired and it’s going to take a while. I have a good person who is going to help me heal and make me strong again…
But there are some injuries that will not allow me to come back full time.
So I am retiring and the gym is closing… I’m sure I will be back to help in future testings but I’m going to concentrate on my health and recuperating so I can continue teasing you next time I see you.

My dear friend and colleague, Master Mike will be in contact with you all soon to continue your training in Taekwondo at a different location so be ready!!

Huge shout out to Kyosanim Ms LiLi and to Mr. Trey. I needed you and you stepped up.
Coach Brian always there to lead the grappling classes and be there when I couldnt!
Mr Mike and Ms Sarah cleaning and organizing the gym when I didn’t have strength and my shoulders were heavy.
Ms Leeanne for helping me through some very dark days. Thank God for you to mend my heart.

There are more of course, my Son, my Daughter, Mr Stetsyn, Ms Renee, Master Tyson, Johnny Johnson, Renato Tavares, Master Mike, as well as the Adrenaline students and their families. I appreciate you all so very much.

20 years went by quick…
