After 2 weeks of lessons this little guy is floating across the pool by himself! 🙌🏽
📢As an ISR mom 1st I will ALWAYS recommend parents prioritize Swim AND SELF RESCUE lessons for their kids. If they can’t float they can’t swim.
I prioritized it over eating out, getting coffee, going to the movies, extracurriculars, gymnastics, soccer, T-ball, whatever it took as a single mom, going through an unwanted divorce making close to minimum wage as a preschool teacher. We went to lessons at 7:30am BEFORE work and school when my kids were 1 & 3 and I had them 100% by myself.
I also work with an amazing non-profit that sponsors swim lessons for families that need the support. I wish I knew of this when I did lessons! 💙
If you want to set up your kids to be COMPETENT and CONFIDENT this summer, Let’s make it happen. 🤙

I am wrapping up my first session of the year and can’t wait to kick off another session May 4th!! 🙌🏽
I cannot think of a more important life skill for kids 6 months to 6 years especially in the state of Florida where water is literally everywhere. If you know my story… the WEEK I moved into a family member’s house who had a pool I signed my kids up for ISR. I did not have the money as a single mom going through an unwanted divorce working as a preschool teacher but I made it happen and am so glad I did.
I’m so grateful the Lord led me to ISR and has connected me to so many amazing families. I am thankful for all my students I have been privileged to teach and the ones I look forward to teaching in the future.
I am also appreciative of amazing organizations like who I work with to provide scholarship opportunities for families.
