🚨Ian's Pizza Verona Wildcat Youth Football Team of the Week.

The Verona Wildcats 5th Grade Orange team battled hard on the road against Portage but came up short in a tough contest. The offense was fueled by strong running from John Luke Krippner, Evan Johnson, and Braylon Premo, who found running room behind the solid blocking of offensive linemen Thiago Escorcia and Blake Borelli.
Defensively, inside linebacker Holden Tune turned in an outstanding performance, leading the way with several key tackles and providing a strong presence throughout the game.
The Orange team will look to build on this effort as they travel to Waunakee on Saturday, September 19th.

🚨Ian's Pizza Verona Wildcat Youth Football Team of the Week.

Verona 8th grade won their second game of the season, 39-6 against Beaver Dam Yellow. Scoring started with Donte Phillips catching a 31 yard touchdown pass from Maddox Nolting, followed by Phillips scoring on an 11 yard run. In the 2nd quarter, Ethan Hawkins caught a 30 yard pass from Maddox Nolting, for Nolting's 2nd TD pass of the game. The 1st half ended with Jovan (Andre) Uscanga picking up a fumble at the 30 yard line and returning it to the house for a Touchdown. Brayden Bigler finished the scoring for the night with a 67 yard touchdown run. On defense, Ignatius Matenaer had a career high 3 tackles.
8th Grade Black's next game is at Waunakee September 15th at 7pm.

Ian's Pizza Verona Youth Football Team of the Week

Verona’s 7th grade Wildcat Orange opened season beating Milton 8 to 6. Jack Flynn scored on a 3-yard pass from Sam Rockwell with just minutes to play. The TD set up by long runs from AJ Hudson and Carter Clark. Sam Rockwell put the Wildcats ahead with his kick for the extra point.

Milton got the ball with around 2 minutes left and quickly moved the ball to the Verona 6. Having With 4 plays from the Verona 6-yard line the Wildcat defense stood tall, taking advantage of great plays by Max Miller, Elijah Mellon, and Andrew Brink.
