Our protocols have proven results, greatly increasing the rate of return to competition. The client and veterinarian can utilize our facilities and expert team to develop a program specifically for each horse's needs.

The aquatred is the perfect way to add some additional loaded exercise without adding a rider quite yet, or even just to keep a certain level of conditioning while reducing impact on joints and soft tissue. The buoyancy of the water reduces the weight that the horse bears to about 30-60%. It’s a great way to add an in between step or use during training when coming back to work.

As Pony Finals come to an end, we want to say a big congratulations to the ponies and their teams that have worked so hard to be able to compete at this level. We wish you all continued success!
If your pony didn’t quite perform at it’s usual level or has had trouble healing from an injury we invite you to look at the possibility of an imbalance in their endocrine system (such as metobolics or insulin disregulation). This system can wreak havoc on a horse from the commonly known weight and hair issues all the way to laminitis flares/founder, non healing wounds/soft tissue injuries, and even risk of frequent re-injury. We love an underwater view of a horse swimming! Horses are natural swimmers and often they enjoy it quite a bit. We carefully watch how each horse swims to ensure proper body posture and use of each leg.
Swimming is a no impact way for horses to get a full body workout using the resistance from the water and allowing full range of motion for each leg. This makes it a great option for horses with hock injuires in particular.
