“I don’t get it. She does this in practice all the time.”
I hear some version of this from parents all the time.
And they’re right.
Their daughter CAN do it.
The work isn’t convincing her she’s capable.
It’s helping her figure out what changes when the game starts — and giving her tools for those moments.
Because she already knows how to play.
Now we need to help her "play like herself."
If this sounds like your daughter, DM me "GAME"
I’ll tell you where I’d start.
