ITS SPRING R***E DAY!!

Today we have ✨ZOEY REYES✨

Zoey has been a Brigadette for 4 years, serving as Junior Lieutenant and First Lieutenant her senior year. She is a member of the dance company, kick company, and she received the All American Award. After graduating she will attend Texas Christian University for an education in Criminology & Criminal Justice on a pre-law track. She is a 4 year member of the VHS Powerlifting team, and qualified for state her senior year. She was French club Vice President 2x, Spanish Club Historian junior year and President her senior year, a member of National Honor Society, Hope Squad, and Principal’s Advisory! Zoey has received the French 2 Merit, Law Enforcement 2 Honor, College Board First Generation College Student National Recognition, and French Club Sweetheart throughout high school. She is currently ranked 11 out of 294, putting her in the top 4% of her class. Zoey would like to add, “I’m looking forward to meeting new people and making new connections! I’m so thankful for my parents always supporting me in everything I do. I’m excited to graduate and I can’t wait for what’s to come!

Day 6, just one more day!

Today we have ✨BRAELYN WHITSITT✨

Braelyn has been a Brigadette for 4 years, serving as Junior Lieutenant and 2nd Lieutenant for her senior year. Additionally, she has been a member of the Kick Company for 4 years and Dance Company for 3 years. After graduating, she will attend Texas Women’s University in Denton to major in Kinesiology. She is apart of the Symphonic Band, Interact, Hope Squad, Spanish Club, French Club, and First Priority. She was selected as Homecoming Brig Sweetheart, and also awarded All American in Brigadettes. She would like to add, “I am so thankful for my friends and family who have supported me throughout the last 4 years.” We love you Braelyn!

Day 6!

Today we have ✨SOPHIE BUCKLEY✨

Sophie has been a Brigadette for 4 years, serving as Junior Lieutenant and Senior Lieutenant both upperclassman years, and is a member of the dance company. After graduating, she will attend Lamar University for an education in Business. She has been an active member of French Club, Spanish Club, Hope Squad, and Interact! She was proudly crowned Homecoming Queen her senior year, and represented her class as an Escapade Beauty for 3 years. Sophie has a 3.85 GPA and is ranked in the top 17% of her class. She will graduate with 12 college credit hours and an endorsement in Culinary Arts. Sophie would like to add, “I am looking forward to going college and studying abroad in the future! I am so thankful for the friendships and memories that being a Brigadette has given her. My favorite memory is when the lights go off at Homecoming halftime and the fireworks would begin! Marching under the lights is something I’ll never forget.” We love you Sophie!

Day 5!

Today we have ✨BAILEY NIXON✨

Bailey has been a Brigadette for 4 years, and served as a Lieutenant for her senior year. She is also a member of Dance Company and Kick Company. Additionally, she was granted the All American Award for Brigs. After graduating, she will be attending Lamar University for a degree in Nursing. Throughout her high school years, she has participated in Principal’s Advisory Committee, Spanish Club, Yearbook Club, and Interact. She is also a member of the VHS Powerlifting team and for her senior year, she qualified for state! She has received her CNA certification through the school’s nursing program, which is truly an amazing accomplishment. Bailey would like to add, “I’m forever grateful for my family for always supporting and believing in me through everything I’ve done.” We love you Bailey!

Day 4!

Today we have ✨LYNSIE JINKS✨

Lynsie has been a Brigadette for 4 years, served as Social Officer President for her senior year, and is also a member of the Kick Company. After graduating, she will attend Texas A&M to pursue an education in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience, and then becoming a Neuroscience Tech after college. Lynsie has been a part of the National Honor Society and Principal’s Advisory Committee for 2 years, Yearbook for 2 years, Spanish Club and Hope Squad for 1 year. She was Yearbook Sweetheart her junior year, and National Honor Society Sweetheart her senior year. She is currently ranked in the top 4% of her class at 12/294, and had earned a total of 41 dual credit hours throughout high school. Lynsie would like to say, “I am so greatful for the wonderful opportunities I have been handed the past 4 years, and I couldn’t imaging making it this far without the ones I love!” We love you Lynsie!

Today we have ✨MACKENZIE FAIRCHILD✨

Mackenzie has been a Brigadette line member for 4 years, dancing and serving her team to the fullest. She will be attending Lamar University for her prerequisites; a major in Nursing and a minor in Nutrition. After, she will attend Texas Women’s University in Houston for a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. After college, she plans to become a traveling nurse and specialize in cardiology! Mackenzie has been a member of Interact and Stuco for 4 years, Spanish club 3 years, National Honor Society and French club for 2 years, and Hope Squad for 1 year. She has been CNA certified, and is ranked in the top 10% at 22/294. Additionally, she has gained 41 dual credit hours throughout high school! Mackenzie adds, “I’m looking forward to traveling and hiking SO MANY mountain’s. I am severely grateful for the friends I’ve made on this team, and most importantly for my family and their support.”

Day 2!

Today we have ✨LANEY ESTRADA✨

Laney has been a Brigadette for 3 years, serving as manager for her freshman year as well. After graduating, she will attend Lamar University for Education in History, with a minor in dance. Laney has been apart of VHS choir for 4 years and serves as secretary. She also has been a part of Pirate Singers for 3 years, and Principal’s Advisory Committee for 4 years. She was awarded choir sweetheart and the Dugood Credit Union Campus Care Award her Senior year. Laney would like to say that “I am so excited for this new chapter of my life! I’m grateful for the opportunity to be around so much wonderful people! I am grateful for the many memories now and the memories to come!” We love you Laney!

First up is ✨KAYLEIGH RAMIREZ!✨

Kayleigh has been a member of the Brigadettes for 4 years, where she has served as our manager to help our team. After graduating, she will be attending LIT for an education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. She is an active member of the Principal’s Advisory Committee, and plays a key role in bettering our school’s livelihood. She is looking forward to furthering her education in Sonography, and she is extremely grateful for the team being so welcoming and fun the past 4 years. We love you Kayleigh!
