It had been a busy and exciting competition season for Spartan Robotics!

Our middle school VEX IQ team competed last weekend in Mix & Match in Bloomington, gaining valuable experience and continuing to grow their teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Today, our high school VEX V5 team took the competition floor in Push Back, also in Bloomington, showing great effort, learning from each match, and representing South Knox with pride.

I am proud of all our students for their hard work, dedication, and willingness to compete and improve.

Spartan Robotics Fundraiser Alert!

We are once again bringing back our “Pick a Date to Donate” calendar!

Here’s how it works:
1️⃣ Pick a date on the calendar.
2️⃣ Donate the dollar amount that matches the date. (Example: the 15th = $15)
3️⃣ That’s it! Your support goes directly toward helping our Spartan Robotics teams with parts, tools, and competition expenses.

Copies of the calendar were also sent home with our team members — so check with them if you’d like to sponsor a date directly!

Every donation, big or small, helps our students design, build, and compete at the highest level in STEM.

Are you a middle school or high school student interested in joining the Spartan Robotics team this year?

We’ll be holding an interest meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, September 10, right after school until 4:30 PM.

Come learn about what it takes to be part of our competitive robotics teams, meet other students, and see how you can get involved in building, coding, and competing!

Location: D-22 (Mr. Kotter’s room)
Time: After school – 4:30 PM
