License to Carry - Basic Firearms Safety Course on Martha's Vineyard LTC- Basic Firearms Safety Course on Martha's Vineyard facilitated by Arciaga Training Concepts Murphy


Cost is $175 per attendee.

This is the MA STATE required course to apply for a License to Carry a concealed weapon. The 4 hour course will consist of:
Firearms Safety Rules
MA Law-Transportation of Firearms
MA Law-Security at Home
MA Law-Firearms Control and Safety
MA Law-Legal Issues
Basic fundamentals of shooting to include:
Stance
Draw
Grip
Sight picture
Trigger Press
Loading/Unloading techniques
Handgun retention
Additional information pertinent to Concealed Carry

After meeting the requirements of this class, YOUR NAME will appear on the Basic Firearms Safety Certificate which you must present to your local police department when applying for your Class A LTC. If you or anyone you know may be interested in participating in this class or for additional information feel free to invite them to this event. As of July 7, 2026 we are running the UPDATED Gun Safety Course as set forth by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts!!!

This is the MA STATE required course to apply for a Class A License to Carry a Concealed weapon.

This is NOT the BASIC HUNTER SAFETY COURSE that is required for a hunting license!!!

The 6 hour course will consist of:

TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO ARREST ON FI****MS CHARGES

SOUTH YARMOUTH, Mass. – A Yarmouth Police Officer was on routine patrol Saturday night when he observed a silver Audi sedan violate traffic laws. The vehicle was stopped on Old Town House Road and during a subsequent investigation a loaded Ta**us 9mm firearm was discovered. The operator, Quintarious Moore, 38, of New London, New Hampshire, had just traveled from Texas to Massachusetts. He did not possess a license to carry a firearm in Massachusetts.

Moore was arrested and transported to the Yarmouth Police Department where he was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Possessing Ammunition without an FID Card, and Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device.

He was released on personal recognizance and arraigned on Monday at Barnstable District Court.
