Who is Changing Lives Martial Arts
Changing Lives Martial Arts is martial arts academy serving Virginia Beach and Chesapeake with four locations. Serving the Greater Hampton Roads and Tidewater areas since 1991. Changing Lives Martial Arts is independently owned and operated by Master Instructor, Sr. Master Thomas and his wife. The academies are well known within the community and are City Wide Partners in Education that are actively assisting the youth in both Virginia Beach and Chesapeake.

Changing Lives Martial Arts strives for perfection in instructional curriculum that meets the needs of several age groups ranging from pre-school children ages 3-6 years old, Karate for Kids ages 6-12 years old and Martial Arts for teens and adults as well as Krav Maga.

As a result of our local success and forecast with our company’s growth, we are assertively seeking qualified and motivated individuals to be a part of our current operations and expansion. We are actively searching for like-minded individuals that will positively impact the community with the CLMA system. Instructor Requirements & Job Tasks
Changing Lives Martial Arts is accepting people who have a strong, genuine desire to help make the students highly successful on their path in martial arts and in life.
• Capable of teaching classes to both children and adults with the objective to inspire and assist them with their personal goals
• Introducing new students to the Changing Lives Martial Arts system
• Able to follow the CLMA curriculum and maintain the system after being trained
• Capable of following valuable checklists for quality events, testing etc.
Basic Qualifications:
• Martial Arts experience
• Highly self-motivated
• Good organizational skills
• Professional phone and interpersonal skills
• Caring
• Attention to detail
• Perseverance
• Customer service oriented
• A good working knowledge of martial arts
• References
Experience: (can be an asset in your success)
• Martial Arts certifications
• Teaching certifications

• ATA Martial Arts Instructors would be a plus!
