🌟 Member Highlight: Katherine McCullough 🌟
Consistency, growth, and community—Katherine embodies all three.
Katherine is the definition of what happens when you just show up and stay consistent.
She first heard about CrossFit years ago through a friend, but never pictured herself actually trying it, until last year when she was looking for a gym close to home and found Chic’s Beach CrossFit. She joined in October 2025 with no prior experience in CrossFit or weightlifting, just a desire to get back into a routine after having her two boys.
In her words, she was “looking for a workout routine that would keep me accountable and have a sense of community… and that’s exactly what I found here.”
Over the past 7 months, Katherine has been incredibly consistent, and it shows. She’s constantly gaining new skills, learning movements, and building confidence. One of her favorite parts of the journey so far?
“Seeing results in the form of learning new movements and gaining new skills… as well as watching others around me do the same.”
You’ll usually catch her in the 9am class, where she’s built strong friendships and accountability—and she’s always one of the first to cheer others on. Her positivity and support don’t go unnoticed.
When asked her favorite part about Chic’s Beach CrossFit, her answer was simple:
“Hands down, the community and coaches… I have felt nothing but welcomed, supported and valued.”
And if you’re on the fence about trying CrossFit, Katherine says it best:
“Don’t count yourself out before you’ve given it a chance!”
