AOG Wellness was present at the APFFL Youth Jamboree for part 2, where we also had the opportunity to speak with the adults leading these athletes.
Coaches are mentors on and off the field. We asked them the same question — and through their perspective, it’s clear that flag football is a space where young athletes build identity, regulate emotions, and find healthy outlets for what they carry.

We asked a mental health question - making space for athletes to connect how the game supports them mentally and emotionally, and how flag football is becoming a meaningful outlet for girls. This was an honor to partner alongside to make this happen for the youth flag football community!
