✨Do your beliefs support your life?✨
Beliefs that don’t serve are like w**ds in a garden, choking the grass and flowers (or fruits) that we are trying to grow…
I recently heard the story of a woman who found one w**d in her garden whose roots were so deep, it literally stretched from one end of her yard to the other!
Our subconscious, limiting beliefs are the same.
It can look like so many unrelated situations on the surface, but underneath, if you go deep enough, they are literally all connected by ONE problematic belief that was so far below the level of our awareness we couldn’t see it.
Some tips to start doing beliefs work, to get at those pesky “w**ds” and uproot them once and for all!
🪄 Awareness is key.
As they say—sunlight is the best disinfectant ☀️ Often just bringing a belief “to the light” of awareness, the conscious mind, is enough to clear it!
Once we know it’s there, it no longer rules our lives and can be transmuted and shifted.
🪄 Patterns are a HUGE giveaway that there is a subconscious belief at play.
Where are there repeating patterns in your life that you just can’t seem to get to the root of?
What would someone experiencing those patterns have to believe about themselves or about life to be true?
🪄 GET CURIOUS! This is not about judgment, but about inquiry. The more you can adopt an attitude of nonjudgmental, objective curiosity, the deeper you may be able to go.
Sometimes our emotions keep us stuck in a blind spot because we do not wish to feel shame, or guilt. Whatever your beliefs are, IT’S OK! Thank them, they served a purpose at one time—you have just outgrown them.
🪄 Work with a partner.
Find a trustworthy friend, counselor, coach, or group you can do this work with.
Others can act as mirrors reflecting back to us parts of ourselves it would otherwise be impossible to see. 🪞

Tuesday!
✨Shed Revamp✨
This shed needed a major overhaul.
When we started, you couldn’t even see the floor or walk in!
Some shelving and storage tubs helped make space, while a bit of TLC cleared the visual clutter and made every item accessible.
So much fun was had doing this transformation…and so far a lucky lawnmower has gotten to enjoy being serviced and repaired in the newly created space!
The workbench is now open for business 😄

What do you ✨pay✨ attention to?
Have you ever heard the phrase “what you focus on expands?”
OR
“Taking up space rent-free in your head?”
Both of these allude to the fact that our attention is, arguably, our most valuable asset (it is how we create reality, after all!), AND that the space inside our heads is the MOST SOUGHT AFTER real estate.
Do you manage your “property” well?
Here are some tips on how to be a better steward of your mental space, and declutter the most potent force you have—your attention!
🪄 Meditate. This has been a dominant subject in personal growth, spiritual, and life hack circles for awhile. Why? Because it works! Meditation is like doing the dishes—think of how quickly your sink would fill up if you never took the time to wash them. Our minds are the same.
🪄 Budget media breaks into your daily/weekly schedule. This one is so important in our over-saturated world. Give yourself 1-2 days a week, or block out a window of time every day to be media-free. Your energy will thank you.
🪄 Notice your thoughts. Science suggests we think at least 6K thoughts a day. How many are you aware of and choosing consciously?
Remember-
Thoughts -> Emotions -> Actions -> ✨Reality✨
Start to notice thought cycles and patterns and decide if they are creating the life you want.
🪄 Actively disengage from people/places/things that compromise your valuable attention. YOU get to decide who or what you spend it on. Responsibility = Power.
Declutter your mental space and watch your life shift in magical ways!

Space Clearing Tip #6
Make it an ✨Event✨
Make clutter clearing a quarterly, bi-annual, or annual ritual (“spring” cleaning can actually be whatever time of year feels best for you), and really treat it as the special and sacred process that it is.
Some tips:
🪄 Make it fun. Refer to tip #3 and infuse the event with pleasure. It can be something you actually look forward to!
🪄 Give yourself enough time to be fully present with the process.
—> Clear your schedule.
—> Set aside an entire day, and give your space the attention it deserves.
🪄 Prepare food or snacks that you can munch on during breaks, as if you were entertaining for a party—even if you’re the only one there!
🪄 Set an intention before you start, (see tip #4), and celebrate your success afterwards!
It is so much easier to complete this process once you have the momentum going. Aiming to “chunk” the task into one or multiple days not only makes it special, but more efficient.

Digital Decluttering:
✨Email Cleanse✨
When was the last time you sat down to delete every unnecessary email?
When doing this cleanse I like to start with the easiest first (spam, for example).
Then promotions, and finally to the main inbox where it might take more time and focus.
It is definitely worth taking the time to unsubscribe from accounts you no longer wish to receive mail from, and curate your folders to be as efficient as possible.
Your future self will thank you! 🙏🏽
Think of what you can do with all that extra time—instead of checking and deleting 100’s of unnecessary emails every day!!

Two things to ask:
✔️what is the FEELING?
✔️what is the FUNCTION?
Does the item/object/pattern elicit excitement, joy, peace, comfort, etc.?
Does it serve a valuable purpose and make your life easier?
If not—why are you holding onto it?
Get curious!
We are creatures of habit…but a habit can always be changed, when infused with AWARENESS and CHOICE.

Space Clearing Tip #5
✨Progress, Not Perfection ✨
Because our lives are in a constant state of flow, perfection is an impossible goal.
Aim instead—for PROGRESS.
Even if you start with just one category, or move slowly through the process of decluttering, every step is worthy of celebration!
As you notice each shift in energy, not only will you be motivated to continue, you will FEEL the difference in every area of your life! (Remember- as above, so below)

How tightly do you hold on?
Whether it be people, places, or things, our attitudes about attachment can often be seen with how easily we let go.
Nothing actually belongs to us.
Not our bodies, our loved ones, the earth…and especially not the “stuff” that we surround ourselves with in our homes and physical spaces.
Everything is—gifted—for a limited time.
When we become like channels, and allow things to flow TO and THROUGH us…our whole relationship with life changes.
Our perspective shifts: from one of fear and grasping, to gratitude, contribution, and letting go.
What is for us will come.
What is not, will go.
We have choice in the matter—
Do we hold on to what we don’t need or love?
Or do we ✨let it go?✨

Space Clearing Tip #4
✨Set an Intention ✨
Before clearing, do a small ceremony to set your intention and crystallize your visions and goals.
Some ideas to consider:
🪄 Write on a piece of paper what you would like to accomplish or how you want to feel when you are finished.
Put the paper in a small box on your altar or in a special place (I like to place mine under a candle), burn it, or seal in an envelope.
🪄 Envision your project when it is finished and focus on the details—how it will look, feel, smell, etc.
Really imagine BEING there, and feel the feelings of joy and accomplishment.
🪄 Talk to someone about your goals, speaking your vision into existence.
It creates accountability, and when you are in integrity with your word it ensures success!
🪄 Light a candle, burn incense, invoke the elements and ask for their assistance as you begin to move energy.
🔥 Fire for transmuting/cleansing/releasing
🌪 Air for movement/creating space
🌊 Water for cleansing/flow
🏔 Earth for grounding/physical manifestation

Said another way, the physical is a mirror of the mental.
Or as the ancients and mystics say, “as above so below.”
The mundane is the Divine made manifest.
Our environments not only impact how we feel—they reflect it. Our homes are a direct reflection of our mental and emotional states…does yours reflect sanity, serenity, and peace?
Declutter for your mental health, and for inner and outer clarity.
It is amazing what even a small shift in energy can do.

Space Clearing Tip #3:
✨Make it fun!✨
Decluttering does not have to be miserable, boring, or a chore.
It can be a fun and highly enjoyable process!
Some tricks to make it easier and more pleasurable:
🪄 Play music. Pick your favorite playlist, podcast, or audiobook and get in the mood!
Upbeat music works great, as does nostalgic music that will help you process the emotions of your era-based items…anything to keep it moving and get the vibe going 🙂
🪄 Enlist help. Refer to tip #2, call in a trusted friend or coach for support and second opinions.
Turn a hang out sesh into a productive event (or vice versa!).
🪄 Reward yourself for milestones in the process—finishing a category, a room, or at the end of the day.
Decluttering is a reward within itself, but adding a little treat helps affirm the accomplishment and boost dopamine (recognizing the completion of a task gives our brain a large dose of this feel-good chemical).
